The first month of the new school year has already gone and summer seems like a distant memory!

We hope all the pupils in Form 1 are settling in well to their new surroundings. Even navigating their way around the campus can be daunting enough but hopefully they haven’t got lost too often!

Your PTA are holding a Disco night in the Ramada Hotel at Shaw’s Bridge for all Form 1 and 2 pupils. This is a great opportunity for form 1 pupils to make new friends in a relaxed environment outside the school and a chance for those in Form 2 to further cement friendships they may have already established. Your child will shortly be receiving a flyer regarding the disco in their school bag.

The disco will be held on Friday, 14th October, between 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Laganview Suite. Tickets can be purchased at lunch time from A8, on a first come – first served basis, between 10th and 13th October. Cost is £5 per ticket.

NOTE: The hotel are providing a bar service so children can purchase water or soft drinks on the night.

Why not make a night of it and treat yourself to a relaxing meal in the Suburbia restaurant at the hotel while your children enjoy the disco next door!
